Descansos Activos y Narrativa Digital: Impacto en Variables Psicológicas y Aprendizaje en Educación Primaria

En la educación actual, la promoción de hábitos saludables desde la escuela y la adaptación a las demandas metodológicas, tecnológicas y psicológicas de un alumnado que es nativo digital resulta esencial. Por ello, el objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el impacto de los descansos activos con narrativa digital en la motivación académica, la satisfacción de necesidades psicológicas básicas, el estado de flow y la asimilación de contenidos. Se ha considerado la ubicación del alumnado, el género y edad, así como la percepción docente sobre esta implementación.
Se utilizó un diseño cuasiexperimental longitudinal con mediciones pre- y posintervención, en una muestra de 808 estudiantes (391 niñas y 417 niños) de 9 a 13 años (M = 10.4, DE = 1.04) de 16 centros educativos ubicados en la provincia de Toledo, España. Los resultados mostraron mejoras significativas en la motivación intrínseca, las necesidades psicológicas básicas, el flow y la asimilación de contenidos; y su impacto destacó en ambos géneros, en los estudiantes de contextos urbanos y en los más jóvenes. Asimismo, el profesorado consideró efectiva y viable su implementación, por su capacidad para motivar al alumnado y enriquecer el aprendizaje. Los hallazgos eviden-ciaron que los descansos activos con narrativa digital representan una estrategia efectiva para mejorar la motiva-ción, la inmersión educativa, el bienestar psicológico y el rendimiento académico en la Educación Primaria.
